THE STORY OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FAMILY HOUSE

Key stages of the project:
1. Initiation of co-operation
In early 2021, we were approached by a client who wanted to build his own home. Together with his wife, they had a clear vision of the design and functionality of their future home, but the project budget was limited. We were faced with a difficult task: to make their dreams come true without going beyond their financial means. We began to develop the project, taking into account all of the clients’ wishes while exploring various options to optimise costs. Our team analysed new building materials, technologies and engineering solutions to find the best balance between quality and cost.
2. Planning and design
After an initial consultation, we worked with the architects to develop a detailed design for the project. Based on our experience, we suggested several modifications and changes that would reduce costs without compromising quality and aesthetics. For example, we recommended the use of modern building materials that are not only more economical, but also more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
3. material optimisation
One of the key steps in the optimisation process was a thorough analysis of the materials required. Thanks to our long-standing relationships with suppliers, we were able to source quality materials at competitive prices. For example
Insulation: The use of high performance insulation foam not only reduced costs but also improved the energy efficiency of the house.
Roofing: Choosing an affordable yet durable roofing material that offers long life and minimal maintenance.
Flooring: Use of composite materials that combine aesthetics and durability at a lower cost than traditional wood
4. construction progress
Throughout the build, we communicated regularly with the client and kept them informed of progress. Regular site visits allowed them to see how their home was progressing and allowed us to address any issues and make changes to the project.
By planning and organising the work effectively, we were able to complete the build ahead of the original schedule, allowing our clients to make additional savings.
5. Transfer of the object to the client
Once the project was complete, the client and I had a final inspection of the house. They were impressed not only by the quality and design, but also by the fact that we had managed to stay within budget. In fact, we were able to save about 10% of the original cost through optimisation.
